Great Caesar’s Ghost!
Early Wednesday morning, Roman Countryman’s psychic sixth toe leads him to a dead body in the woods behind his store. By the time the skeptical police swing by to take a look, however, the body is gone! By the end of the night, the body has been found again, and Roman has been pulled toe-first into an absurdist murder-mystery! Join Roman, his girlfriend Nanette, and Linda, niece of the freshly-deceased Lighthouse owner Perry Winkle as they set out to answer some serious questions:
Who killed Linda’s Uncle?
Who stole Roman’s psychic toe?
How is Roman’s brother Julian involved in all of it?
Are the Chutney Twins really psychic?
How DOES that dog talk, anyway?
Chutney Point is a 152-page graphic-novel-in-progress, written and drawn by Matthew Kelleigh. Issues 1-6 are now available for $1.50 each, ppd.
Act 6: The Fisherman’s Key is the latest installment of Chutney Point. With only one more act to go before the Final Curtain, now is the perfect time to jump into the story!
Linda, Nanette, and Roman, having been captured at gunpoint by Roman’s brother Julian, find some time to study the stone slab recently uncovered in the basement of the Lighthouse. Julian is off to show the inscription on the slab to his boss, the twisted Dr. Imbrium, Mad Scientist At Large, but not before again reducing the number of active-duty police officers. Freeing themselves, and with Nanette’s solution to the Slab’s numeric code, the heroes are off to find The Fisherman’s Key! As the Chutney Twins would say, “Can the climax be far off?”
Chutney Point #7 is expected to be a full 32 pages, available by the end of the year 2000. Keep an eye on this space for further information.
